I'm excited!

Hello All,  As most of you should know we are back from Florida.  We really enjoyed our winter there.  It was hard to leave and I will miss the beautiful weather, the palm trees, our flower garden, and our one tomato plant.  We bought it on a plant clearance rack at Lowes for $.33 when we got back after Christmas.  We got alot more tomatoes and there was still green ones when we left.  We told neighbors to pick them while we are gone.  I hope someone will water everything while we are gone.  Oops more important I will miss our neighbors and all the new friends we made. Now for my excitment!  Will have my first card class this year at HL.  I am hoping to see me dear friends.  Let me know if you are coming next Wed for my day or evening class.  I am trying to be ready in advance this time but it is difficult knowing how much to get ready for.  Hate to waste paper cutting more than I need.  If you cant come, I will understand.  After all I deserted you all by going to sunny Florida for the winter.  Remember I did leave you in the capable hands of Mary Jo Isch.  I know day time class  is better for alot of you but as you know with Mary Jo working all day that was all she could offer.  I dont know how she managed to be ready.  I Thank you again Mary Jo and thanks to Lynn and Karen for being there when your sister needed help.    Until I see you again, take care and God Bless All of You!

This weeks cards!

Had a great class,  there was 13 in attendance, 4 new girls.  Everyone is disappointed that I only have 1 more class, the week after next.  We will be leaving for home around April 2nd.

Cards from my Tues. class

I had 13 sign up, but 11 showed.  Still kept me pretty busy.   Since I only hold class every other Tues., I only have 2 more classes down here.  We will be heading home before Easter.

My other 2 cards

Well it looks like you can hardly see the one card.  It was quite a challange having a large class.  It ended up I had 15.  Almost no one has supplies.  I ask for another $1 and I provide tape, blk card and envelope.  I sure was busy.  Almost everyone is new to all of this.  I have a couple scrapebookers and a previous card maker. A couple of the girls are quick to learn and try to help.  Thank Goodness.  I do have a few who try to help clean up  Needless to say I was pretty tired at the end.  Have met alot of nice people.  So far I have 9 signed up for the next class  on the 21st    Wish me luck as I am sure there will be more.                                                                                         

Feb 7th class

Hi Everyone,  I sure do miss seeing all of you.  Thank everyone who has sent me cards.  Linda I used your card to inspire me, although I did make changes as to losing some  of my die cuts..  I hope you dont mind.  My class is tomorrow and this week I have 16 coming (to one class).  these are the three cards I have ready to make.  Still have 2 more to come up with.  Nothing has changed,  I am still doing things at the last minute.  Take care, God Bless you all

Hi Everyone!

I tried a couple days ago to scan cards from my recent class,  but for whatever reason wasn't able to.  Some days just dont work!  I will try again but probably not today.  Had a great class this past Tuesday.  Had 11 in attendence,  Thanks to one of my attendees who has come since I started this with no previous experience.  She is a natural.   She got to get the first group of 5 started on one card while I started a group of 6 going.  After that I could help both groups most of the time.  It seems when one person  needs you, it snowballs and several need you.  Everyone seemed pleased with the cards.  So far I only have 6 that signed up for the next class.   Some people are only here for a short time so dont get to come back.  I pray all is well with all of you.  I do wish I could bring you all here to spend time with me.  Take card and God Bless you all!

Jan Card Class

Hi, I held my first 2012 card class yesterday.  Had 4 come.  Everyone did great.  More people come by in the club house and say OH I wanted to do that but forgot about it.  I have been using all my supplies for and extra $1 fee, but I dont know about this.  Yesterday, I went there with 5 roller tapes (they were in various amounts of use)  before we got to the last card we totally ran out.  I had to run my bike home and pick up more adhesive ( like the pink type).  I am glad that we live fairly close to the club house.  I have sort of forgotten how to attach my pictures to this but hpefully it works.  Brain is going fast with all these old folks around.  Ha  Miss all of you!
